Play as a tiny raccoon-dog postal worker with a bicycle in Tanuki: Pon’s Summer
Pon is a part-time mail-delivery tanuki and a full-time show-off who has ended up responsible for saving an entire shrine. The Great Tanuki Festival is only a month away, the local shrine is looking rather worse for wear, and Pon has until the end of summer to get the whole place back into shape.
Tanuki: Pon’s Summer takes place over one sweltering summer on a colourful, picturesque fictional Japanese island. You spend the month exploring the place, meeting its residents, and delivering their mail. It’s a lovely little life-sim, where you gradually become a familiar face around town and build friendships with the locals.
You’ll be carrying letters and packages of different sizes, weights and shapes, so you’ll need to work out how to fit everything onto your bicycle. Also, think about how you approach each delivery and plan your routes.
Pon’s BMX lets you explore the entire island, which doubles as your personal playground. There are ramps, rails and plenty of opportunities to string together tricks and combos. You’ll discover new routes, reach some rather ridiculous heights and take on over 100 BMX challenges.
You can make sushi, join a baseball game, step into the sumo ring and discover what else your new friends have going on. Tanuki: Pon’s Summer also features unique crossover hats inspired by Hollow Knight: Silksong, PEAK, Shovel Knight and more. Fashionably late deliveries, perhaps?
