Double Fine Announces Chaotic Bus-Driving Game ‘Thank You Bus Driver’ for PC

Double Fine Productions has announced the chaotic bus-driving game Thank You Bus Driver for PC via Steam, GOG, Humble Store, and itch.io, with a release date yet to be announced.

Players control a town bus driver whose job revolves around three priorities: preventing rulebreaking, staying on track, and keeping to the schedule. The rules aboard the bus can change each day, while the depot introduces additional restrictions over time.

Passengers who break the rules can be slapped as a warning. Repeat offenders can have their bus privileges revoked and be removed through the back door.

Players can pull up the map while turning or take shortcuts. Avoiding pedestrians, traffic, and fences is technically optional as long as the bus reaches its next stop before the passengers become upset.

Each stop also comes with a time limit. Happy passengers provide Thank Yous, which add additional time to reach the next destination. Collecting more Thank Yous also unlocks additional bus tchotchkes, town variants, and other content.
