Petit Planet Coming to Switch 2 in 2027, New Pre-Launch Special Program Released

HoYoverse has announced that its upcoming cosmic life simulation game, Petit Planet, will release on Switch 2 in 2027, following confirmation that its mobile and PC versions will arrive on December 4, 2026. 

A new pre-launch special program showcasing the game was also released.

Players begin with a planet of their own, then connect it to other planets and gradually form a larger galaxy. The planet’s vitality, known as Luca, influences its appearance and can alter elements.

Daily activities include planting crops, fishing, beachcombing, mining, cooking, and crafting. Players can gather resources from different ecosystems and use customization systems to change their character’s clothing, decorate interiors, and arrange outdoor areas with themed furniture.

Neighbors arrive with individual personalities, stories, and goals, and can eventually be invited to settle on the player’s planet. Relationships develop through conversations, gifts, and other interactions.

Players can also leave their home planet through Starsea Voyages, traveling with Neighbors to different Islets. These excursions feature rare creatures, recipes, resources, and additional characters.

Multiplayer and social elements extend to the Galactic Bazaar, a shared hub where players can meet one another, participate in festivals, and spend time together.
