TYPE-MOON Ace Vol. 18 Reveals Witch on the Holy Night Cover and Special Feature

Kadokawa has revealed the cover of TYPE-MOON Ace Vol. 18, scheduled for release in Japan on December 3, 2026. The upcoming issue features Witch on the Holy Night on its cover, alongside special coverage of Fate/Grand Order, updates on Melty Blood: Type Lumina, and exclusive merchandise illustrated by Type-Moon artist Hirokazu Koyama.

The magazine will cost ¥2,000 and will be 236 pages in A4 format. Pre-orders are currently available through Kadokawa’s online store, where customers will also receive an exclusive postcard.

The magazine’s opening feature will focus on the film Witch on the Holy Night, including interviews with cast members and additional coverage of the production.

Witch on the Holy Night follows a trio who live together in an old Western mansion on the outskirts of a Japanese town. Rumor says a witch lives there, and that might not be so far-fetched. Aoko Aozaki studies sorcery in the area under Alice Kuonji’s tutelage.

During the Showa Era, a young man named Soujuurou Sizuki meets them both. He comes from the countryside and slowly adjusts to the new reality of city high school. Eventually, he encounters these two mages under the most unconventional circumstances, sparking a curious set of bonds.
