Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana Switch 2 Game-Key Card Pre-Orders Open

NIS America has announced that pre-orders are now live for a physical release of the upcoming Switch 2 port of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.

Priced at $49.99, this Game-Key Card release will include the “Castaway Classics” original soundtrack, a keychain featuring the game’s logo, and an exclusive bandana featuring key art.

Ys VIII follows the legendary red-haired adventurer Adol Christin after he and the vessel he boards, the Lombardia, are attacked by a sea creature, causing a crash.

Afterward, everyone is stranded on the elusive Isle of Seiren, which holds a myriad of secrets tied to an ancient civilization. Gameplay-wise, this is the third entry to use the party system, letting Adol team up with multiple characters, each with their own attack affinities.
